Hi everyone. :)

So yeah, I’m trying to create a new animated series. Well I say new, I’ve been trying to build this web-series for a couple of years now. So it’s not exactly new, new.

So what the hell is Literally Hell? Basically, it’s three teenaged demons that get up to adventures and shenanigans in Hell. It features three main characters and they are Damien, Lucy and Mary. Damien being a strong yet dumb demon. Lucy is the smart one. And Mary being a hybrid of human and demon. Mary use to be human before she ate an apple from the forbidden tree (see first episode).

So far, episode 2 is almost finished! I don’t have a specific date on when it’ll be finished. But I have sent all of my animation files to my sound designer and once he’s finished doing his thing, all I need to do is edit it and upload it!

I have uploaded my Literally Hell animations here on Newgrounds but they’re kinda jumbled up with the Literally Hell shorts I made. I have made a playlist on youtube were things make a little more sense.

Just wana give a quick update for my next Literally Hell animation. I am planning to giving my animations a more narrative story as opposing just to do a funny short. So my next Literally Hell cartoon would be roughly a minute or 2 long.

So I am currently making the second episode but instead of upload a whole 6 minute episode, I’m dividing it into 4 parts. In other words, there’ll be a Literally Hell 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 etc. I know that it’s not exactly ideal but the way things are, I’m not at all popular on the internet. I don’t want to spend months on a single animation when instead I can spend months on 4 short animations were the story progresses within each episode. It just seems to be the best way for me to get my work noticed so far.

I’m also planning on designing and selling T-shirts and other clothing on redbubble.com soon. Also the first Literally Hell episode is still going to a few film festivals so there’s that to look forward to as well.

What I am planning on doing is to make 4 or 5 Literally Hell shorts and upload them as a separate videos. That way, I’ll be uploading a new animation per month instead of spending months on one full episode.

Of course I also offer cheap rewards so do check them out as well.

I understand that this is newgrounds and people here would probably prefer me to upload a full 5 minute version rather than a few shorts that are roughly a minute long. And if that is the case then I respect your opinion fully. But I'm not really well known here nor anywhere else and I would hate to work on a project that would last me months and loose my subscribers as well by not uploading frequently. But then again, this is for those who do enjoy my animations and is willing to donate.

For the second episode I have written five different drafts and made a storyboard so I do think I have a good solid script. I have also showed my script to my friends and they seem to like it as well.

Lucy who is fourteen years old and she is a smart girl. A lot smarter than her older brother Damien so I’m simply looking for someone who sounds young and smart.

So people are worried about Youtube and its new “Advertising Friendly” policy. Well the way I see it animators/animation have kind of gone unappreciated for the past 3 or 4 years. I mean sure you have your Dick Figures, Simons Cat, cyanide and happiness and what not. But animation takes weeks and maybe even months to make. And comparing those to let’s players like Jacksepticeye, Markiplier and those who are a little less popular takes a couple of days to upload their videos. Not that I dislike those guys (which I don’t) but I think this is very unfair for those who make cartoons for a living. And it’s not just lets players but practically every other video is less time consuming comparing to animations like cooking channels, vlogs, and other youtube channels that have already made it big on television. Animators struggle to keep up with the paste

Once again, I have talked about how great newgrounds.com is as it has a great community, great animations and great games. Now with Youtubes new strict policy this is the perfect time to get on newgrounds!

This may very well be the start of newgrounds to rise and gain its popularity as it once had 10 years ago!
