I’m happy to announce that I’ll be hosting crowd funding campaign on Indiegogo for my upcoming animation short Socio-Zombie. 

Logline: Cancel the party, bring on the funeral.

Socio-Zombie is a comedy horror animated short about a little zombie girl named Cloe. She’s also a sociopath and enjoys killing people just for the sheer fun of it. 

The crowdfunding campaign will be hosted in March this year. I do not have the exact date planned just yet.

Here’s a Literally Hell Christmas digital illustration that I drew back in 2019. Due to being busy with my new part time job I’m a little too busy to come up with a new Christmas illustration. Sorry about that.

I’ve designed this image to say no to AI art. 

There’s a lot of news in regards of AI art where there’s a mix opinion of AI art through out all of social media. I for one do not approve of AI art because the use of AI art takes a mixture of digital illustrations that are already exists and have been made by Artists. In short, it’s just straight up plagiarising other Artists work.

I am currently planning on hosting an animation project called Socio-Zombie on Indiegogo early next year and I have no intend nor interest to use AI Art. Especially when it comes to voice acting, I will not be using any AI voice generated programs. I am more than happy to hire voice actors/actresses to voice my characters for my up coming project. I am personally an advocate for opportunities and the last thing the world need is for opportunities to be taken away. 

And yes, I will be hosting auditions for voice acting next year for paid roles so be sure to stay in tuned for that.

I’VE CREATED A NEWSLETTER!!!

Why is this important? Well as you may know that I am planning hosting a short animated film on Indie-gogo in February. And at that time I’ll be shouting about it from the roof tops on Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter and pretty much everywhere else. 

What worries me is that the algorithm on every social media platform aren’t always great and therefore you may be missing out on some news. This is where Newsletter comes in handy. Back in 2021 I attempted to pitch a kids show call Cryptic Tales of Spookiness to the BBC Ignite. The show was going to feature Cloe as a zombie witch character as well as Vicky the ghost girl. They also have vampire parents named Nikolai and Thyra.

Sadly, Cryptic Tales of Spookiness was not picked up by BBC and there was zero feedback on why the show was not accepted into further development. But if I were to take a guess it may be because BBC may not like idea of a zombie character to be in a kids show. But there’s also the fact that BBC would probably receive hundreds of ideas from other Artists (maybe even thousands) when they are only looking for a few ideas.

Apologise for keeping this quiet for a month. I have mentioned before that I was considering hosting a indiegogo project for a new cartoon short called Socio-Zombie. Unfortunately I may have to put a pause on it as we are now in November. November, December and January tend to be the worst months to host a crowd funding project as it is Christmas time and more people will spend their money on Christmas things.

However, what I can do is spread awareness about my indie project and build up an audience. The earliest month to start hosting the project will be February so maybe then I’ll be hosting the project on Indiegogo.
